came home learly this morning around 3:30 am and saw that the GSR was gone. right from the driveway. Sucks to see it go like that. Look around and saw no shattered glass, no sign of anything or anyone breaking in. hope they find the car in one piece.
anyone in the area, look out for gsr parts for sale. it was a black 95 gsr w/ the '98 front and back, leather interior, extended wheel studs, 96 gsr rims.

When you live in Cali you learn to expect your car to get stolen or at least broken into if you drive a honda or acura. BTW, what part of Cali was the car stolen? Any pics, so we know what to look out for? Sorry for your loss.

There wouldn't be any broken class because they more than likely popped the glass out of the door from the top, as this is very easy to do on integras. Then they just put their arm in and unlock the door and within 15 seconds they can be driving away with your pride and joy with no regret or remorse.
Just curious though...what did you have for security?

just got a call from the CHP. i guess they found the car. sounds like tis going to be bad tho. but im optimistic it will turn out okay
Sigh... sorry to hear... I know that feeling all too often.
My factory spec 94 GSR was stolen twice last year. The only thing really worth stealing from the outside is the factory Fat Fives. Since I too only have liability insurance, all repairs is out of pocket. Believe me when I say with a mortgage of 2k+ a month... its no easy task.
First time it was stolen, I had my Alpine head unit, JL subs, and Arc audio amps, and fat fives removed. The worst of it all, when they stole the rims, the left the car sitting on the rotors. Needless to say, I had to replace all four rotors, dust cover, and new fat fives + tires all out of pocket.
The second time, Alpine head unit again, and two additional paint guns I left in the trunk. For whatever reason, they loosened all the wheels, but didnt end up taking it. Perhaps a cop drove him while they were in the process. The worst of it all, I actually watched them drive off with the integ when it was stolen. There was little I could do since they were pretti much down the street by the time I noticed it. I too, also had a club on the car.... still took them less then 5 min to jack.
The car is mainly garaged now, which is unfortunate for my finance as we have to park her new car outside. The thing that frustrates me the most that people have no courtesy or thoughts when they steal cars. For them, they much steal mods, then to pay for it themselves. I sincerely hope karma will catch up to them eventually. The worst feeling in the world is waking up in the morning, only to find an empty parking space where your car once parked. Theres no words to really explain the feeling of violation and lose when it happens. Twice in one year is more then enough for me.
Be sure to beef up your security system if your car is recovered. This includes back up sirens, kill switches, and maybe even a removable steering wheel. Ever little thing counts.

never thought it would happen. i was told that the car is a total loss. is it still worth the time and money to restore it? it does carry a salvage title prior to it being stolen. what does the H-T community think about that....
good? bad?
