replacing alternator on 4th gen
I have a 4th gen with h22, how much of a pain is it replacing the alternator. My friends dad owns a shop so I could prob get a good deal but I'd rather not pay anyone.
also does the JDM h22 alternator fit a 93 USDM h22 since they are all obd1

piece of cake.
you need 10, 12 and 14mm sockets. Loosen the tensioner (10mm screw in the lower part of the alternator bracket), take out the belt, unscrew 3 nuts, pry with a big screwdriver on the bracket to push the alternator out and it's in your hands. assembly in the opposite way.
