Hey guys, i need ur opinion. I recently bought a sylvania silverstar for my low beam, cuz i was hoping that it'll look more like an HID. So i bought it.
When looking at the headlights from outside of the car, it does look white and close to HID bulbs, but when i sit inside and look at its lumenation, its a bit yellowish. I was hoping it would be pure white. So i made this thought that maybe if i bought the sylvania cool blue instead, it would look whiter. What do u guys think?
Also, does the cool blue look like HID's also? or silverstar looks closer to HID? I can still return the silverstar though cuz i just bought it today.

 

none of those will ever look like HID, need an HID projector for it to look like HID

dunno what to tell you about those bulbs... save up for HID retro

 

nothing except HID looks like HID. some things you just can't do

 

As stated above....nothing but HID is HID

however.. are you more concerned about LOOKING like you have HID?
or just usable light which HID produces?

I have horrible vision...hence my HID retrofit on my Si

haha, I think he's going for the IS300 look maybe ?

 

yeah, im looking for the ones that look like an hid, not so much on the performance.. And, yeah, im looking for the ones that look like the lexus and the new bmw hid.. i think they're kinda cool.

 

Try PIAA bulbs alot better
