sup guys, i have a 92 civic hatch cx.....is the instrument panel with the heat controls and vent controls supposed to light up around the trim of the panel???

 

You mean the climate control? That is supposed to light up. Don't really understand what you mean about the trim. It's only supposed to light up on the vent indicator, AC, fan, and temperature parts.

 

yea the climate contol./..lol i had a brain freeze and just couldnt think of the name...all i got lighting up is the indicator light which is green for which vent is on, and then another indicator light for outside air or inside air...i saw in a coupe the climate control lit up around the edges and corners around everything...is it supposed to in a cx hatch?

 

Yes, every icon for the vents, temp, fan, and ac should light up

 

every icon?...not just the green dot above it to identify which is on?

 

Not just the green dot. You probably have burnt bulbs. Not the easiest to replace. It requires you to take out the climate control unit.

 

whats the easiest way to remove the climate control?....after that is replacing the bulbs simple?
