im looking to get a 98-01 type r lip.
what company sells the best type r style lip? what kind of material is the best (abs plastic, polyurethane, etc.) ?
imnot looking to spend 300. even though i know it will probably be worth it i just dont have that much.

I've seen a brand new oem poly-urethane one here for $200 w/out shipping. I'd say save and search for an oem one. The abs plastic will just crack on you and you'll spend as much to replace it as you would for an oem one.
For replicas the best one would definitely be Comptech, but those will cost you an arm and a leg if you bought it new. Your best bet would be an oem one, I bought mine for 120 in like 8/10 condition, I just had to look around and be patient.

ABS is actually pretty flexible. One would have to bottom out pretty harshly to break a lip.

Urethane is the best. But it cost a lot. ABs is suckie, but just be careful because it's cheap plastic that breaks easily. I got my abs one from this site for 115 shipped. http://www.streetstyler.com/In...p.htm... I'm still waiting for it to come
