window wont close ?
i don't know how but the rubber lining is preventing the window from closing the whole way ..
the motor seems fine, the window moves up and down well until it gets blocked by the rubber lining ..
do i have to take apart the whole door to fix this ?
i know it's not a great discription of the problem, but if i take it to a shop, would it be a cheap fix ?
i'm a broke college student so i have very little in terms of money ..
btw, its a em1 .. thanks in advance for any info/help

well you either need a run channel seal, thats the rubber thing you seak of, in which most of the time you dont need to remove the panel, or needs a regulator, in which case you do need to remove the panel and the glass.
can you see where it is getting caught? if so, i would use a flathead (carefully so you don't rip th rubber) and pull the rubber out while letting the window go up, which will put it back into the rubber track. I would also spray some kind of lubricant in there to get it sliding nice.
Don't take it to a window repair place especially if your regulator and **** works fine. all they will do is bend back a track if it is bent or do what i told you.
good luck
