speedo not working and other misc quetions

speedo not working and other misc quetions
new to preludes...just got my 92 SI a few weeks back. I've searched and come up with nothing.
1. Speedo is not working, any suggestions??
2. Some previous owner decided to throw in a f22a1 in the SI.....car is dirt slow...car feels like a geo metro.....Is that normal??
3. Tranny grinds in 3rd and 5th in high rpms....any suggestions??...syncomesh??
