Just to let folks know my Hx that I posted a few months ago with 337000 mi.s on it was stolen out of my driveway this morning. Went out to get in it and no car....And yes, I turned around 3 or 4 times just to see if I was dreamin' and hadn't actually gotten up yet! But no, it was not a dream.

The thing that really angers me is I think they came by the day before and either released my German Shep mix or took her so that they could come back early the next morning and steal the car and there wouldn't be any barking. That is just speculation but I was up most of the evening before looking for my dog. Both my wife and I are sick about it. She was a sweet dog and scared of storms and it was storming that night.

good luck finding your dog and car.. hope you find the people that did it and let your dog go after them. i understand your dog is probably nice and trained but the thought is positively delightful.

Nothing special, just a damn good car, well cared for for 9 years..My dog, well I have some good news, a lady in the neighborhood saw her last evening and tried to get her to come to her but she was too skiddish. Interestingly enough, the lady said someone had driven through her yard and tore it up, looked a lot like my Honda's tread width and certainly a small cars base width.....maybe just a joyride, but they had to jump the curb to get it up in her yard, I am sure if they find it--it will be trashed if not completely stripped.

damn looks like a nice neighborhood too. i live up on a private street and everything and sometimes i forget people still get you. when i had my integra i was straight up paranoid and if i seen anyone that i thought was anywhere close to following me home id turn around and drive some crazy *** direction to lose them. and id club the bitch even inside the garage haha. no i leave my ek hatchback in the driveway without any security but an alarm. but good thing is that my room is downstairs in the converted 3rd car garage to room so i sleep right next to my car basically and ill hear if anything ever happens so i can pop a fool. oh im sorry though if someone jacked my dog id find them and **** all over them.

 

Man does look like a nice and quiet neighborhood.. Just the way thieves like them too.

What would they want the stock HX for? I can't believe they had it all thought out too! The dog first... OMG... That just shows how much thieves stake out before they actually do something....!

I just had my window visors taken off my car a week ago in front of my driveway... expletive thieves!

Got a call this morning, they found the honda---all they could tell me over the phone was where they were sending it (wrecker service) and that it had no wheels....I get to pay for the tow, for whatever it takes to get it runnin and get it home---if possible. But even though it was a standard, I am pretty sure they broke the ignition switch to boost it. That along with everything in it---even if there is no other damage is more than I could have gotten out of it with it's hi-mileage! Man this sucks. I have not found my dog as of yet. This has been a crappy week and it ain't even midway yet!

Check the local pounds...definatley check around ur neighborhood again... :-\
