Default Heli-coil **HELP**

I did a search and got some good info.. Heres my question.. On my 97 GS-R 2 head bolts came out with the block thread on them. Now i know the bolt thread is metric at 11 x 1.5mm. Does Heli-coil make a 11 x 1.5mm kit???? I found the TIME-SERT kit, but thats $400. Anyone knows or is there any other way???
THANKS

By the way Head Studs for me now..

i wouldn't use heli-coil for head bolts, usaully machine shops have the Timesert kit adn charge you a fraction of the kit

Well I spoke to my machine shop guy and he says he is going to heli-coil the block. He said as long as I use head studs now I should be fine... Any opinions on this?? when loosening the studs don't they sometimes come out of the block still??? So the same thing may happen again?? Let me know..

Many have tried Heli-coils for head studs but very few have had any lasting success.Timeserts is the way to go.I would not use a heli-coil for a Honda head stud...

Just saw that you don't have studs yet.The other way to go is retreading the block for 1/2" studs. You will have to redrill the head by it's pretty bulletproof.

I agree with NJIN BUILDR, though the helicoils will probably hold the studs, it will always be a worry.
