It depends on what kind of car you have (model, year, version).
It also depends on how you plan to use it (street/highway, track, dragstrip, autocross).

195/55-15 or 205/50-15. Either one will work. 195/55 preserves the accuracy of the speedometer and odometer, 205/50 will read 1.6 percent higher.
