Default engine problem need a answer

my boy just finished putting the 12 piece kit on his 90 crx. the has 18" on it also to match the kit. now what he wants to know what swap should he put to push the extra weight. he was decieding between these 3 swaps b16,b18b,orb18c. let me know so i can pass on the info.

you should have done the swap first, now you risk damaging all that fiberglass,

the reason we didn't put the swap first was cause they painted the whole car inside and out.

i don't think he has that much i mean he just spend 5500 on the kit and paint and i'm pretty sure he has only like 3000 for a swap not sure though

also i don't think for 3k he can boost a b16 or the do an itr motor cause he would need the complete swap mounts shift linkage ect. plus changing the timebelt water pump ect. also doing the wiring convertion i mean iwas telling him to go with the b18b and have maybe a couple of dollars left.

I used to work at advance auto parts and we sold reman ITR motors for like 3100 bucks, which doesn't need anything, its all new and reman parts, so its good to go, also, i didn't know turbo was an option, i thought he was lookin for NA
