LS b18a1 stock fuel pressure question
ok 88 hatch b18a1 with adjustable fpr. i need to know what stock fuel pressure is and how much can u adjust the fuel pressure safely.
don't quote me on it, but i would guess around 38 psi... my stock si fuel pressure is 34-36...but if it is a B&M fuel pressure regulator, throw it away, their garbage, i had one and for the longest time i couldn't figure out why my car was running so lean at low vacuum and rich at high vacuum...
it not my civic its my friends and he had it set a 40psi i thought that an ls was around 36-38 psi i'don't know. thanks plus i knew it was to high because white smoke was just flying out the exhaust last night and the plugs fouled out. haha he sucks any ways thanks

white smoke is coolant... so you might have a different problem on your hands, too much fuel is black smoke, thats why diesels blow a bunch of black smoke when they accelerate, cuz they really richen the fuel mixture under acceleration
