Please recommand shops for Air Conditioning in Socal Southern California

Can people in Southern California please recommand shops that do good work on A/C check-up and recharging in CA-60/57 (Rowland Heights - Diamond Bar area)? My car is a 93 civic so I need R-12, do I need to a specialized shop?

There was just a great DIY on this but i can't find the link. As far as good shops in so cal, i know one that is in norwalk that is AWESOME, but that is kind of far if you are in diamond bar.
