I know alot of people ghetto rig their emblems (double side tape...falls off too easily, or super glue...fcks up ur paint), and i would like to have factory-like emblems. is there an emblem glue or something that i can buy? or what do u guys use? thank u in advance

 

I would also like to know since i am going to be reinstalling my emblems after finishing the paint job.

i put on my honda emblems on my car with double sided tape n it works great really strong. bought the tape at kragen. super glue=

 

I dont think double sided sticky tape is really ghetto, i know of a lot of people who use it, myself included, and it does the job. I actually think most OEM emblems have double sided sticky tape already on it unless it locks in to holes on the car. correct me if im wrong, because I took off my moms emblem on her durango and it was held by it.

If you buy the oem acura/honda emblems it comes with the double sided tape already on it.
Now if your putting on some ricer emblem, your on your own.

These are OEM and came w/ the tape on it, also had the 2 plugs for proper placement.

yup.. i use 3m emblem adhesive too... i worked at a car was an drove it in and out like 2 times a week and never had a problem with it.. it holds real strong.. they been on for a year already...

Yes 3M emblem adhesive is as close as you can get to OEM.

thats the **** MOST car companies use t put emblems on w/ unless they have stickie material on the back, which many do, i have like 10 tubes fo thatr **** since the pops is a custom painter

 

doesnt emblems comes with sticky side on the back?? unless its hot stuff

I just bought a tube of 3m adhesive from ACE and it was 10$. Not exactly cheap. Should have went to walmart.

I usually pay 5-6 bucks at a paint supplier.

 

sweet... tomorrows project: pick and pull for some emblems and then buy some of the adhesive

 

If you plan on putting ricer/gay emblems on your car then try covering a large area on the car in Aircraft Remover and it sould hold the badge on. If it doesnt work repet the process
