I was looking in the 06 civic forum and a few of the people said that their OEM foglights were burning the laminx.....i know that the fogs are not the same for us as they are for them, but i figured Honda might have used the same bulbs or that there might be some similarities between the years...i'm wondering because i have laminx on my oem fogs for my 01 but i have yet to install them, so i was wondering if anyone has had this problem with their 01-03 foglights? if so, i'm going to go ahead and peel the laminx off before installing them...
thanks for any help...
thanks for any help...
I have 01 and I use lamin-x for my fogs.
I never have any problems with the lens melting, but then again I use the stock bulbs. But I've heard people who change their bulb to the brighter one has that problem.
hope it helps

I'm more interested in whether the lamin-x is being burned (turning brown or black), rather than the lens...but thank you for the reply, i appreciate it...you have the OEM fogs, correct?

I have had the oem foglights with yellow lamin-x on my car for about a year now...so far I have had no problems with the lens or lamin-x melting or changing colors. I am running Nokya yellow bulbs for the fogs as well.
