recently its been harder to shift into any gear in my car. is it time for a tranny fluid change? and wut brand should i change it to and wut weight? i have a 98 gsr.

what the others have said....
I've tried redline MTL.....it was nice when i first put it in, but I'd stay away from it. I'm currently using the GM synchromesh. Feels the same as when I had Honda MTF

Same here, i tried redline and it annihilated my synchros so i switched back to honda

HONDA MTL is not necessarily the best. its good for everyday driving with occasionaly WOT's. But if you're pedal is to the floor all day, everyday, you would want something designed for that kind of driving style.....REDLINE MTL

thanks for all the replies. How much fluid do i actually need, and is there a certain weight i have to buy or can i just pick some MTF from honda? thanks

honda only has one type of MTF for b-series motors, so ask for that
you can pour the fluid in from the speed sensor hole if you dont feel like doing the less that scientific "pour until it begins to spill and get the bolt back in as fast as you can" method haha
to drain your fluid all out all you need is 3/8" socket wrench to crack the tranny drain plug loose
