Ok my car is hitting rev limiter at 6500-6900 on my stock tack. I have the rev limiter set to 8k. Its still slamming into vtec and pulling hard. Its just throwing me off that its hitting at 6.5k. I have the check engine light shift light set to come on at 7k. It does come on. I also checked my mph at top rpm (6500 rpm according to stock tach) in 2nd its right around 63-65mph. Is my tach off 1500 rpms? Does andyone know what would cause this.

 

look in your manual. i know in my h23, the limit for 2nd was 60.

 

my tach is off in my car, for a while it was off by a good 1000rpms according to my vafc, but it just recently corrected itself (the tach) 600rpms, so its off now by about 400rpms. no clue why or how!
