I've just got done putting my motor and engine together and everything is running and working out great, but when I was getting ready to take it for a test drive my gears wouldn't go in while the car was on, and when I put it in gear and then start the car, the car moves even though I'm holding down the clutch, plus I can't get it out of gear either.. what's the problem with this thing, do I need a new tranny? or am I just missing something? please help because I can't wait to drive this thing..

 

sounds like a clutch problem - clutch isn't releasing - have you adjusted it?

 

Yeah, I'd check the clutch first but don't be suprised if it's a main bearing or something similar. I'm fixing to send mine off to gear-speed to become bullet proof.
