Finally, a book to help get you behind the wheel in the sport of racing!
Being a fellow S2000 guy, thought you might find this post of interest...

Commercial post!
Good book man. Great info, but the tidbits about being cheap doesn't really apply.

Commercial post with IT.com's permission and support. It's a sticky over in the road racing forum.
I really appreciate their help!
Thanks for the nice comment (being sincere).
When talking costs to race, I don't say it's cheap. But it certainly doesn't have to be nearly as expensive as most people say. But then again, there's a reason why my race car is an '87 Honda Prelude si and not the S2K. There are many ways to race on a reasonable budget - I and my friends know first hand.
The Prologue page on the site as well as the other pages go a bit into what I'm talking about in regards to costs. The book also discusses autocross (very cheap), and HPDEs.
mykcuz - I understand your frustration, but maybe there was an error when sending it out? Normally they are very good with that stuff. Honestly, I wouldn't worry much about the packet. The basic stuff you need to know is listed on their site http://www.scca.org. What type of racing are you looking to get into? If you're in NJ, you've got several options regardless of the type of racing (autocross, HPDE, wheel-to-wheel club racing).
When at the SCCA site, I'd also recommend you look for the region's site and review that too.
