My car had always been making some weird noises whenever I go on bumps or step on the brakes a little harder. It sorta sounds like the axels are bad but its not the axles. I've swap the whole motor and shocks and springs before and it still makes that sound. It drives normal and I've been driving it for a about two years now. The sound just irritates me a lot. Anyone knows what my problem is? Some guy told to change my bushings...but I have no idea what that is.

 

when u did the suspension work did any of the bolts in the rear arm seize and maybe you tore the bushing that will cause some noise. Bushings are the rubber inserts you can see on the lower control arms in the rear and all through out the suspension.
