ok so here it goes..i was driving about a month or two ago and my axel just suddenly popped out on the freeway. i went to put it back in and found it wouldnt go in all the way. figured it was the wrong axel so i went and bought another axel. it went it easily and i mean easily. about 2 or 3 weeks ago it poped out on me. and i dont know how but i put it back in on the side of the freeway. then yesterday it popped out on me again...its really bothering me and was wonder what the cause of this might be. the axel goes in all the way no shaking or noise. so what could be the problem? any suggestions would help thanks!

 

is you car lowered? My friends used to pop out becuase his car was dumped..

 

yeah a little but i dont think its anywhere near my 240 which is like 2 inches from the ground....hmmm but then the coilovers are bouncy i want to stiffen them up...you think that might help?

 

make sure the snap rimg is there there...that is what holds the tranny end of the shaft in..some people even spread the rimg a little for extra piece of mind that itll hold in..

when installing them it should slide all the way in then lock itself in..make sure when you install it you pull on it to make sure its locked
