iam just wondering which engine would b better in a crx. i no i bet this question was asked b4 sry. but my friend just got a crx with a b16 and its real quick and he said he likes it better then his hatchback with the d16 he got as a daily until he gets the crx's bodywork done. i no the b16 actually has mods on it and stuff and the hatchback doesnt but he told me even if the d16 had about the same mods ex(greddy headers, custom exhaust, aebs intake manifold, cold air intake and a few more) that he would still take the b16. i was just wondering which engine was better. iam not planning on turbo and wanting around 160-180 HP. his had 170 and was nice so hoping to get one around there. thanx for the posts and again sry this question has probly been asked alot of times b4.

i have a crx with a b16 swap and a buddy has a d16z6 and i beat him by 3 cars and the only thing i have done is cold air and cat back.

 

heres the #'s

b16 = 160hp
d16a6 = 108 hp
d16z6-125hp

no wonder the b16 is faster:p
