Default b16 runs really rich

alright.. i have a b16a in my 91 hatchback... the motor has low low miles on it and runs beautiful..excpet for when u go to hit the throttle it takes a secound to lean itslef out a bit because of it seems to be getting way to much fuel... when i say rich i mean its can throw flames out of the exhaust pipe..lol.. do you think it has anything to do with my ecu? its a obd0 pw0 ecu

Do you have any CELs?
Hows the gas mileage?
And are you running both O2 sensors?

did have some cels a few weeks ago.. i think most of them are cleared up.. i havent reset the ecu... i thought it was acting funny b/c of my blown head gasket so i took the top end apart and ended up replacing the valve and head cover gaskets, cam seals, water pump was bad so i replaced that, along with a new thermosat.. now im back to it runnning really rich again... gas milage is ok but could be beter, ive only put about 150 miles on it since the swap was done..

and yes i have both o2 sensors inn

check your vaccum lines on your throttle body, i had the vaccum lines for the map sensor and charcoal canister backwards. check those out., also make sure the o2s arent in backwards. check to make sure your fuel pressure reg isnt leaking or an injector isnt leaking or stuck. good luck, hope u get it fixed
