i have 205/40/16 on my stock 90 hatch, no fitment issues at all, possibly if lowered though you may run into the rear quarter/front fender rubbing issue. Just fyi they are Kosei K1 Racing 16 x 7.5 w/ shitty Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's. The height issue of 50 series is probably going to cause rubbing though.

 

205/50/16 will rub if lowered to much, did you get new rims
