Default b16 good enough ? ? ?

I'm planning on getting my swap very soon. I was supposed to get a good deal on a b18c1 but that deal doesn't look like its going to fall through so i'm probably gona get a b16 2nd gen.

Considering the b16 is about a thousand less, would a thousand be enough for parts to make it as fast as a stock b18c1? I drive a 93 hatchback by the way.

Anyone have 1/4 times for their b16 2nd gen?

Should i just spend the extra thousand on the b18c1?

I'm having doubts about the b16 being good enough. I don't want to invest in something that will disappoint me. Please give me your opinions... thanx

This topic has been discussed 1000000+ times BUT, if you DONT want to be disappointed, just save the extra money and get the b18c1.

or put the nitrous kit on the b18...and then you're faster than the b16 w/ n2o

or spend the 600 for the extra trq and hp, that will ALWAYS be on tap?

you`ll be MUCH happier with the b18c

yep...you WON'T be satisfied with a b16...trust me (no offense to you b16 guys, but you know it's true).....i'm pretty sure if you go b16 you'll have buyers remourse...i know i would spend the extra cash up front to get the GSR!
