need Z6 help in my hatch
my motor floods with the injectors hooked up and will run for about 15 seconds afterwards with them unhooked
while its running on all the extra gas it sounds beautiful, so i think my injectors are plugged in wrong... can anyone with a Z6 swap into an EF tell me how your wires are run? the manual says there right but my motor says there wrong
there wired like so
red brown #1
red red #2
red blue #3
red yellow #4
anyone have any ideas?

my colors showed way different than yours man... mine are
1. yellow and brown
2. yellow and red
3. yellow/black and green
4. yellow/black and yellow
i dont know if youre running obd-1 or not, i am so thats probly why my colors are different than yours, i just wanted to give my .02

well im useing a boom slang harness so that may be why.. im OBD-1 as well so i dont think thats the diffrence
i just find it weird that my injectors could be off so much.. the motor will run for about 15 seconds on the fuel in the cylinders and then die, after that if i hook the injectors up again it wont even stutter and just floods it

bump for some help, im takeing it to a shop tomorrow since it needs to be running by wednesday.. if anyone can help me get it running before tomorrow morning i'll paypal $15

no thats not my problem, the car ran perfectly before the rebuild, and i didnt take any resistor box out, not haveing one now when i stayed with the same engine and everything else couldnt cause this
its an 89 Civic Si hatchback with a D16Z6 swap and a P28 chipped with crome

everything was left as it was except for rebuilding the motor (exactly like it was when it ran for 5+ months) so a resistor box isnt the problem
only thing that was changed was the ECU from hondata to crome

hmmmm....... sounds like you got a problem, cant you get a diagnosis?
too rich of a basemap more then likely
i can get it to start now with the throttle wide open, but it runs rough and wont idle, it floods itself out the second you take your foot off the throttle
