These axles are looking very nice. Any opinons..... Also would i have to use the 94-00 integra axles on my 90 civic with hydro tranny and 95 gsr intermediate shaft? I have searched but i cant come up with anything rock solid.

seems like a good investment if u are around 500 hp, if ur not at 500hp, why would u get them? most autoparts stores have lifetime warrenty's on CV's, you just gotta bring back the core.
I beleive you need to youe 90-93 integra drive shafts. Those are the ones that fit the EF knuckles (Non HF).
I use crappy lifetime warranty ones. Why? Cause I replace them for free and I usually have 2-3 of each kind laying around.

we sell oem rated integra axles, a good customers has a 350 hp civic and has never broken them after a year of running them, and he hits the 1/4 mile a lot, i would go with cheaper priced ones like ours, http://www.lethaldynamics.com/axles.html

Damn if I had 500hp axles I woudn't need a motor. How do axles make that much power?
well i have a built b16a bored to 85mm, darton sleeves, 9.3:1 comp, forged pistons and eagle rods, the head has a full race port and polish and has dual valve springs and titanium ret. good up to 9,300rpms, GSR cams on hyame cam gears, skunk2 manifold with a 76mm TB. Tial 50mm BOV and 44mm wastegate, 750 hp intercooler, 1000cc injectors, p-fab ramhorn mani, SC61 turbo, and with some race fuel I have no doubt on making mid to high 500'sHP at 25+ psi. Also i am using 24.5x13 Hoosier slicks, and i believe i would snap any stock autozone crap axle in half. So my question was not if I could make it but if YOU had 500HP would you get them
Waste of money man, a stock axle will hold 600 hp for a long while, and it's cheap to replace. Also you can buy the lifetime warranty axles for under $200, my old tuner had a 600hp crx/mid-10sec with stock axles, and he only replaced his stock axles 2-3times a year.

haha
if i gonna spend 200 for stock axles i put out the extra 300 and get a year warrenty. That mid 10 sec crx still had to change them 2 to 3 times a year, i dont want to be changing my axles at the track. Its not about the money

I personally have a friend that has ~650whp and uses stock axles,,been lasting him since he did the swap about 1 year ago......
The thing is though, when using stock axles, you have to preload them when you launch.....Otherwise they will obviously snap.....Thats not just for high hp either,,You could snap those things with 150whp if you use slicks and rev to 8k then dump it.....You have to preload

I had a long conversation with droppedcrxsi yesterday about axles, and how NA motors abuse them so much more. I whole heartedly agree with all of his statements. A NA car will punish your axles much more, for you are launching at near peak power levels, where in a turbo car you launch, and then build boost, there for the shockload is not as extreme. Since you are a turbo guy you will probally be allright. Try out the stockers, and if they break then replace them. IF it ain't broke don't fix it, you know?
PHATGSR has 600WHP (Dyno prooving, not just talking like you) on a 2.0L GSR T. He uses those crappy autozone axles, but oh wait, your less torquy, less powerful engine would just snap those? Hmm...
He did upgrade tho, that's cause he is aiming for ALOT higher now.

Yea it's all about the #s the motor makes
did you read his post?
There are alot of factors to breaking axles.

The original question asked what kind of axles, I gave my answer. The second thing he had told was his motor could blow regular driveshafts like twigs. Then I told him that a stronger engine uses the cheapest ones around and he never had a problem. Yes they did blow, when he was running slicks at the track, but even then, he blew maybe 2-3 the whole time he raced. He even drove it daily. No problems with them. It's all about driving with spares in the trunk and all the tools to change them.
