My sister just got a 97 coupe. For some reason the cruise control doesnt work, the dash button turns on the cruise light but the controls dont do anything. Also the horn doesnt work. I looked at the wiring in the steering wheel it looked fine. any ideas???

also her dumbass fiance was putting a head unit in and the srs light came on any ideas here?

 

as far as the cruise, becasue the horn does not work makes me think its a clock spring , becasue its tied into the horn, yuo may also have a bad crusie actuator, check all your vacume lines connected to the crusie under the hood, from the actuator to the vacume canister then to the intake manifold.. As far as your srs light, just attempt to reset it, do a search for SRS, there is a 100 on how to reset the light. and go from there.

 

CAR WAS IN AN ACCIDENT. MAY HAVE TO REPLACE CLOCK SPRING. ALSO MAY HAVE TO REPLACE THE SRS UNIT WHICK ALWAYS HAS TO BE REPLACED WHEN IN AN ACCIDENT.
