Default Problem with My Exedy Three Puck Cerametalic Stage 2 Clutch

Okay, I have the three puck cerametalic clutch disc with the stage 2 pressure plate. It doesn't perform as great as I thought it would. It seems to slip a little. The good thing about it is that the clutch pedal doesn't feel all crazy stiff or anything. But then again that concerns me. I'm wondering if it was misinstalled or something because it really doesn't grab at all. I was however able to chirp second gear like usual, but not like the ACT Heavy Dudy Clutch did. Any info? Opinions? Experiences?

Is your motor stock? How much power is your motor making? I have the same clutch as you do with a stock JDM h22 and I've never had any slippage issues at all. I've heard these clutches are pretty good with turbo setups making 300-325 whp without slipping. I personally won't find out untill the end of this month when I get my turbo tuned.

If your motor is stock or with minor bolt ons and your clutch is slipping, I would say check your installation one more time. If that is good, then you may have a defective PP? See if anyone else has anything better to contribute than I do.

Well... it's not like it slips with regular driving. But say if I bring up the RPMs to do a burnout, it doesn't seem to peel as well as the ACT Heavy Duty did. I was still able to do a burnout, but the second gear chirp isn't as sharp.

I'm running about 230hp at the fly right now, which is not much over stock. Just a couple of internal upgrades with an ECU.

Oh yeah, is anybody else's clutch pedal with the Exedy stage 2 soft?
