Default NO MORE RSX. SAY HELLO TO THE NEW HONDA INTEGRA TYPE R

YOU CAN KISS THE RSX GOODBYE

SAY HELLO TO THE NEW OFFICIALLY HONDA INTEGRA TYPE R

I DONT KNOW IF HONDATECH KNOW THIS BUT HONDA HAS DECIDED TO DROP THE ACURA RSX FOR THE 2006 LINE UP. HONDA REPORTEDT THAT THE RSX HAS DROPPED IN SALES DRAMATICALLY SINCE THE TL AND RL MODELS CAME OUT. MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY STATED THAT THE RSX WAS LOOKING LIKE
" A FISH OUT OF WATER"

SO NOW HONDA IS GOING TO OFFICIALLY TAKE OVER AND BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL HONDA INTEGRA DESIGNER. WE ALL NEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEND BUT WHAT I WAS SURPRISED IS THAT THEY ACTUALLY DROPPED THE ACURA NAME AND NOW ITS OFFICIALLY THE HONDA INTEGRA TYPE R!!!

you can read more about it on HONDA TUNNING mag

What month of Honda Tuning? I won't believe it until I see the Honda Integra Type-R on the showroom floor at the dealership.

rsx is done cuz honda wants to focus on acura being the luxury brand.
suppose to be replaced with a TSX coupe.
there is no type r coming to the states!
Honda Tuning has nothing but speculations as well. end of story

The whole reason they cut it is because Acura wanted to move up to Benz and like Lexus class, and the Civic Si is the same exact thing as the RSX just different body.

i think it has something to do with the strict emission control in the U.S. making it difficult to bring the type-r here. Keeping the cost down also is difficult. Everybody gets the type-r but us....boowhoo

Sorry, but it doesn't even look like a coupe, more like they welded the rear doors shut.
