Default '03 Accord V6 with AEM V2 -- Performance?

I'm looking for feedback from Accord V6 ('03-06) owners who have installed the AEM V2 intake.
I am considering the AEM V2 intake for my '03 Accord EX V6. I would like a little extra power but I am concerned about the noise. The engine is really nice and quiet in it's stock form and I would hate to spend $300.00 to only to be agitated by dramatically increased noise.
The other concern I have is in regards to actual Torque and HP increase.

In a previous TOV article: (hope the admin does not frown on this link)

...the dyno results were found to be lacking compared to AEM's published dyno charts for the 2002 Civic Si. AEM explained the descrapency was a result of them testing the V2 on a Civic with a modified exhaust system. I do not plan to upgrade my exhaust system (becuase of the noise) so I would like some first hand feedback from someone who has installed one of these on their Accord without an exhuast system upgrade.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Pete :-)

I have the I4 with the AEM CAI (non-V2), but in my experience, the intake gets pretty loud as your RPMs go up.
