Unplugged hose under hood
I replaced an air intake with OEM parts and noticed that there is a hose that is not connected to anything. (see photo - far left). On the air intake I removed, there was only once place to connect a hose and this other one was already disconnected.
Thanks in advance.

i dont know where it goes, but it doesnt look like it goes on the intake tube you have there.
sure that intake is for your engine? possibly look around a little bit more to see if you can find a place for it

That intake may not be for that engine. Normally there is another nipple where that hose goes into (a little to the left, and above of the other hose connected to the intake).

I'm pretty sure this is good. Pulled it from a 97 in a junk yard and I don't remember seeing more than 1 hose connected to it.
The original part I had in my 95 was a AEM or something like that. One of those H20 suckers. It had only 1 hose nipple as well.

I own a 97 Accord EX with the f22b1 and that hose doesn't exist on mine right there. Unless the part it is connected to it put on backwards or something, there are longer hoses on the other side but I don't exactly see how that is possible either. The only two hoses I have coming out of that general area is one that connects to my egr valve and one that connects to a smaller round thing that looks kinda like the egr valve but looks like it has to do with the fuel system which is just to the right of the egr valve. Neither has a metal pipe with rubber hoses on both ends in the middle like that one though.
Here are some pics of a 95 EX intake:

I don't think that vacuum hose will cause any major problems. You may have to just plug it. (Someone else may be could chime in on that.)
