Oil pressure gauge readin???
I installed my gauge right at the head. That bolt right next to the vtec seliniod.
Well my problem is that when i step on the gas it jump up an down, which is fine. but when i hold it down around 6k, it jumps way up. 70psi. If i really rev the **** out of it it will go past 80psi. Does this seem right? My old gauge did that but i had a enydn oil pump an they said it was fine. it goes back down after i release the throttle. For some reason i think my old gauge moved faster. can i get some help?
heres a video of whats going on. but i was told its fine for a mech. gauge.Only reved to about 5k

That's next to the distributor where the VTEC oil-pressure switch was, right? I was gonna install my Autometer oil pressure sending unit there, but it didn't fit because of the dist. Did you just ground out the line to the ECU?
its a bitch. 1/8 pipe. it was reall tight. we mearured an the thread was 10mm with 1.0 thread. but if u thread some 1/8 pipe in first(slowly)...it will fit. like I said..it was a tight *** fit. but with some typhlon tape it will work like a charm.
