I'm trying to install an aftermarket cd/mp3 deck into my 97 Accord SE and what installation kit do I use?

I tried the Walmart one, they don't fit right at all.

What are some good ones that will fit and looks good and comes with the box under it.

Well mostly all of them should work. If it is the right size then it should work. When i was installing mine. On the left and right side of the kit there were 2 clips and i had to clip them off for it to fit. Since they make the same kit fit on alot of cars you have to modify it a little bit. Hope that will help.

 

i used a Metra kit and had to use screws to keep the bottom flush w/ the rest of the dash
i used black screws so it didnt look rigged(cant see the screws)
and i also had to cut clips on the side

 

go to crutchfield pick any deck once you have your car input. it'll auto add the kit you need. there's your part#.
