Default Euro-R Pistons

I didn't really know what to title this post but yeah here's the question. I'm gonna be taking off my head to put in some cams, vlaves, springs and retainers. Can you look at the pistons while the head is off and see what kind they are? I just want to make sure i really have Euro-R pistons. Also, i've seen that type-s pistons says P5P on them. Do Euro-R pistons have the same markings?

It probably will have the same P5P markings as the Type S (same block, same parts). The main way to tell visually is by the shape of the pistons. The Euro R/Type S pistons are taller & have a flat dome at the highest point, unlike the JDM pistons that have a rounded dome.

In the FAQ's A-B piston guide I have "11:1" and "10:1" piston pics. Note the difference in dome:

you don't have to take the head off to replace that stuff.

lol, you're pretty damn good if you can replace valves without taking the head off.
