Default head question

i have a 91 crx with a motor swap that was done before i bought the car. the wiring for the motor was hacked in to the car. the motor is a 1.5liter bottom end and a 1.6 liter vtech head. how can i identify what year motor the head came off of.

heres a few pics of the car. some one fucked it up really bad and its become my job to unfuck it.

wow you should ditch those taillights. they previous owner had some bad taste. Other than that the car looks good. There is a stamp on the front of the head right above the exhaust manifold

i have plans to do that. i think there ugly as hell. what is out there to replace them. this is my first honda. i really dont know much about it or the motor. what is the reason for putting a 1.6 head on a 1.5l block besides the v-tec thing?

Looks like its already obd1 Unless you can find the code on the head there is no way of telling. But it looks like a z6 intake so I am gonna say its a z6 head. Not all valve covers said VTEC.

Tail lights:

Theres the Si tail lights with the black trim and say "Crx" in the center Garnish
The hf's are similar but have no trim around them

I like the "CR-X" jdm tail lights they actualy say CR-X on the center Garnish
Theres the "CRX Vtec" tail lights that say CRX VTEC on the Center Garnish

And the Special edition II for the Special edition crxs

I really gatta figure out how to post pics... But These are some of the things you can search for to take a look at, ebay usualy has them.

"PCM 37820-p28-a52"

P28 IS THE ECU NUMBER AND THE P28 ECU IS FROM A D15B FROM THE 92-95 CIVICS, AS FOR THE HEAD I WOULD AGREE WITH THE VTEC AS POSTED ABOVE(Z6), ALSO IT MAY BE A Y8???????????????????? I DONT FREAKING KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
