well i planned on using the magnetic ones for every other time i go to auto-x? or hpde? since i couldn't get the printer working for last minute print outs i decided to just go and use the painters tape method... anyways SM turned out to be fun with about 5 civics, a teg and a MONSTER evo 8. took third in class after a civic and the evo......good times, I really enjoyed my first time out.

My bone stock civic hatch is sts just cause of my coilovers, and i get my *** handed to me every time but i 6th of 24 novices and my pax time wasnt all too bad last time i ran, and i had a blast which is the important thing. read the scca rulebook, its available for adobe acrobat at the SCCA's homepage. Thatll tell you everything you need to know.

PS: put more air in your tires. 32psi aint helpin your times

Beating cars of more value or higher horsepower in autox (or any venue) is always rewarding

I ran 42psi front and 32 psi rear during the autox but didn't chalk the tires.....next time.

Also seems like RWD can be a real handful on the autox course unless your setup for autox (which is probably useless for everything else)

Say what? How so?
I've AXed both, and I'm not going back to FWD anytime soon.

I just want to say that SM sucks bad for us Hondas.

I have been running SM in my 90 hatch because of the swap. Well at my local events SM is full of heavily modified EVOs and STis.... and then there's me. lol

But yeah, I just picked up a 92 Miata in perfect shape!! EStock here I come!

P.S. Just from what I've experienced on the street so far, it feels like the stock miata handles better than my Civic with ground control/illuminas and ST sway bars front and back.

i beat him every time by several seconds but it is cause of shitty tires and a slick *** pavement. he smoked me on a 1.7 mile road course at motorsport ranch. Line us up on the street, making him start in 3rd, he still beats.

Also, he used to work at Panoz Racing School, so its not bad driving.

Check out the results. I'm 8th, hes 9th.
