Default quick question for anyone with victoracers...

hey, i am buying some 225-50-15's slightly used for 250bux...

my stock ex rims are 5.5" wide right? or are they 6"? will the VR's fit safely? or do i need to throw my ecsta's back on the stockers and put the VR's on my K-1's?

the 5.5" EX rims won't support anything more than 205... 215s and 225s especially are out of the question....

I know of one other Accord owner that's run on V700s, that was urbanlegend21. 205/50-15 V700s on 15x7 K1s I think. 94Accord is on A032s. I've heard stories of 225-wide R-compounds on 5.5 inch wheels, but they sure don't look happy and your tire installer will hate you.

Well, if you do mount them on your K1s (I'm sure they're 15x7?), let me know if they rub. Oh, actually they may rub if you mount them on your stock wheels. I had a 225/50-15 AVS Intermediate on a 15x6.5 Prelude wheel and the rear tire rubbed the rear knuckle towards the top, and rubbed the front of the trailing arm under hard cornering. I put on 5mm spacers and the tire cleared the knuckle okay, but still rubbed on the trailing arm on really tight fast turns.

ya...15x7, ill have to look out for rubbing, but i dont think ill have a problem... the 5gen wheel-wells are much for "spacier" than the 4gen's. ill let you know tho...

and i thought urbanlegend had 225's on his K-1's?

Oh yeah, that's the size, but they are Corey's (honda318dx) wheels/tires.

Yes, 5G's have more spacious wheel wells than 4G Accords

It's not the wheel well that's the problem, it's the suspension parts, and ours are almost identical. Knuckles, trailing arms, UCAs, LCAs, the whole deal...
