I might have chance in landing a good deal I think. A friend of mine has a 93 accord ex 2 door 5 speed at his house. Doesn't run. Mentioned that some vacum lines are broken or whatever. Going over there on Sunday to check out the car and see if anything else visable is wrong etc.

The price he quoted is $1000. $800 for the car and $200 to tow it over to my house if I choose to by the car.

Now, I worked on Hondas before but not really deep. Just basic maintenance. My question is, what could be the problem for a vacum issue? What specific areas should I check around and see? Will this issue cost me alot of money?

Any helpful information be greatly appreciated.

 

If it does not run, check the timing belt first.
Bring a compression tester too.
