it is a very tight fit i had to go buy a smaller socket wrench but then it didnt have enough leverage to crack it open.. i would try using an open ended wrench

You need a long six-point wrench..
Cheap tools often produce bad results..
PS>It looks fairly mangled already...
You could also try a long pipe wrench like for plumbing..

If its a d15/16 just loosen the top fill plug and go from the top of the engine bay, you can use a suction gun and just squirt oil right in there, no need to worry about getting your face covered in oil.
Obviously you use the 3/8 ratchet for the drain plug, and a 17mm wrench for the fill.

I had my friend pull from the right side and I push really hard from the left side with a boxend wrench. But I usualy refill it from the drain bolt by squeezing the Lucas bottle.

Unfortunately the hexplug will be under the starter when it is in the car, the speedo hole is drder than pulling the fill plug. If you want pics of how to fill the tranny from the top I can make some. lemmie know soon

It unscrews counter-clockwise with a 19mm wrench..
It has a hex shape right under the black rubber that protects the wires..

yeah agreed. u gotta lay under the car backwards and kick it really hard to snap it loose..
Worse comes to worst, use a set of vice grips, clamp em' on there tight then smack the sh*t outta it with a BFG. I had to do that because of 17+ years of Canadian road salt and cheap tools
. Then replace the bolt with an OEM Honda unit + washer when done
