I want to put HID's in my jdm black housing headlights and was wondering if you have to convert the bulb harness to H4 (or something like that) to accept the HID's.

 

please don't do hid's without a retrofit, you'll blind everyone on the road. They glare way to much w/o a projector retrofit.

if you wanna get HIDs... do it right... get a RETROFIT done...

 

i personally think retrofit looks bad....i have a bb6 and i wanna get HIDS without a retrofit...but idk about the whole thing with h4 conversion.

 

I really don't like retrofits, I have friends that didn't use retrofits on their cars and it isn't blinding at all, all you have to do is point them downwards

 

yup, hes right... i got some 8K's on mine wothout retrofit and its fine... i asked people to drive in front of me to see if i was going to be blinding them and noone said yes...you just have to play around with them untill you get it right
