Removal of srs legal?
i am taking all of my airbag stuff off of my car and i would like to know if it will pass safety and emissions in slc utah. i assume our standards are like most other places (except cali) now my car already has a salvage title cause it was a theft recovery and i just want to know if it will have trouble passing with lets say an airbag block off tray and racing steering wheel
some people say it is, and some say its not
depends if the cop wants to be a dick or not
I have personally never gotten hassled for my Non-srs ITR steering wheel

ok that was my understanding as well. i don't plan on selling the car at least not for a long time. besides with a salvage title i wouldn't get much for it anyways. i figure i will just make the car how i want it and just keep it around for a while. but yeah thanks guys.
I removed mine when i changed steering wheels and i just got pulled over about two weeks ago and he didnt say nothing about it... Should be fine. Its your safety and the safety of the passenger so its up to you if its worth it or not.

In most states it's illegal. It's just not enforced. Take your chances.
As for emissions, I've never heard of an instance where removing your airbag made your car pollute more. So no, it wont affect your emissions.
