GSR Rims
I have a set of gsr fatties i wanna put on my 97 civic ex coupe.. but the lug pattern is off a bit.. what can i do to fix this so i can pu these wheels on.. thanks.. oh and sorry if this is a repost, i suck at searching.. and cant fiqure it out..
Measure them and tell us what the diameter of the bolt circle is for the Civic hubs and for the GS-R wheels. Theoretically, the diameter of the bolt circle passes through the center of the lugs (studs, on the hub) and the center of the lug holes (on the wheel); however, it's usually easier and more accurate to measure from the edge of the lug or lug hole to the same edge of the opposite lug or lug hole, rather than trying to find and measure from the actual center.
I'm pretty sure they should both be 100 mm in diameter. But let us know what you find...

not sure how you meant measure them.. but i did measure them from the center of one bolt to the opposite.. i got 4 inch for the civic and 4.5 for the rims.. not sure what to do.. any help..

Yes, that's what I meant.
The diameter should be 100 mm for both. 100 mm is almost exactly 4 inches. (4 inches = 101.6 mm)
Those are not GS-R rims. They must be rims from some other car that has a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. (114.3 mm = 4.5 inches) Probably an Accord or Prelude. You can't use them unless you replace the hubs or buy hub adapters, neither of which is really worth doing. Ask the guy who sold them to you for your money back.

The 1997 Accord offered a 15x6 wheel (Honda part number 42700-SV1-A31) that looks a lot like the 15x6 GS-R "fat five", but it has a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. I'm guessing maybe that's what you've got. The five big holes between the spokes look just a bit more rounded where they meet the outer edge of the Accord wheels.
Compare these two photos and see for yourself...

Which wheels are yours?

ok so they are the accord wheels.. they still look good and would still like to put them on my car.. cant really take them back, got them from a junkyard... so if i where to put the accord hubs on there, how much work would this take me, and how much experince is needed.. or where could i find a hub adapter... thanks for the help..
I don't know how much work it would take to change the hubs; it depends on how much you would need to change. In any case, it's really a lot of work just to get some junkyard wheels to fit onto your car. You would be a lot better off just selling the junkyard wheels and buying real GS-R wheels.
I also don't know about hub adapters, other than that they will change the wheel positioning so you have to be careful about the offsets. You can see what the adapters look like on this website but they don't show any for converting 4x100 to 4x114.3.
If you DO change your hubs or get hub adapters, don't forget to get a different spare wheel/tire.
Again, I think you're better off just getting a real set of GS-R wheels, which you can find pretty easily in the marketplace forums or on eBay.

That ought to work. You'll need to make sure it's 4x114.3 from the '95-96 JDM Integra Type R, and NOT the later ones. All the '97 and later ITRs, including the USIM and CIM ITR sold here in '97-01, came with 5x114.3 hubs.
(Note - you probably already know this, but when the bolt pattern is stated as 4x114.3, that means that it has four lugs, with the diameter of the lug bolt centers of 114.3 mm, which is 4.5 inches.)

Accord lug pattern is 4x114.3, your Civic's lug pattern is 4x100. I don't think it's worth it to convert your civic over to 4x114.3, unless you wanted the very little added brake power, you're better off getting some GSR fat fives.
here is what u do....u take the tires off the rims. take them to a machine shop. give them a spare to go from. they will measure the center bore of ur spare, and then they can machine the rim to the same size, and voila they will fit. I had this done b4, and u will have NO problems with em. It cost me $30 bux to get it done.
