ok i was on the internet looking for a few different cars and i emailed this guy about a del sol askin if it had the b16 in it. he just sent me a message bac and it just had his website on it. hes selling a 2000 honda civic si for 4700 and it only has 48,631 miles. its purple i dunno how to get pics on here so iam sry but just wondering if its a good deal???

 

Ya sounds like a good deal and are you sure its not ebp and doesnt just look purple in the pic? If the title is clean and the car is too then sounds like a real good deal to me.

 

Seems too good to be true. I paid more than that for my 2000 Civic with 48K (when I got it about 5 months ago) and it's no Si - it doesn't even have A/C. It's probably a scam or there's something seriously wrong with it. Just my 2c.

 

it said on the thing it was pruple and it has some front bumper cant tell cause the sites so slow it aint painted but those miles r really low.

 

Dude, Go look at the car.
Everybody has something to hide about used cars when they sell them...this could be something major, or maybe not. It sounds like a good car, I'd say go take a look at it.

ok so the car has a bodykit, and it was painted bc the engine bay is red...my guess is that it has a salvaged title due to being wrecked...hence the body kit/paint...but i could be wrong...if the car runs good, and you can deal with a slavaged title then its a deal.

man that looks pretty damn shadey...look at that interior...the radio/climate control area looks beat...to me it just doesn't seem right...but if it is legit, then i might go for it...a lot of cleaning up you'd have to do on that though.

 

To tell you the truth I wouldn't buy anything from those people. You would have better luck on eBay.

 

I bet it has been salvaged. the engine bay is red and the origional color is blue... look at the bottom of the door jam when it shows the interior. The origional color wasent red like the engine bay it was blue. So it seems like it was a blue and the only reason the frunt would be red in the engine bay is if they replaced it all.

 

I wouldn't buy it. By the looks of it, it must be a salvage title car and it doesn't look like they did a good job putting it back together. I doubt anyone would down grade from 99-00 Si rims to some hub caps, unless of course the rims were wrecked/stolen and they had nothing else to use

probly ruend the rims in frunt from a werck like you said and insted of having SI rims on back only and hubs on frunt they decided to do a chep fix but better looking then 2 different wheels so they just used hubcaps all around.

 

It looks to be a salvage title to me. It has a GSR engine in it, a body kit, 2 missing A/C vents, steelies with hub caps, and a purple paint job.

I wouldn't buy it, but if feel you are getting a good deal, go for it.
In my opinion you are just paying for a GSR engine and a nasty shell to go along with it.

 

I live about 2 miles for this place. Its a small dirt lot with the most mangled up, beat to **** cars to ever see the light of day. Anyone who lives around here and knows this place will tell you to steer clear.
