how many oxygen sensors do a 2001 lx sedan have? i checked majestichonda and it states 2 middle and bottom of the manifold? but visibly i only see 1? is the second bottom one hidden behind a shield or something? thanks.

 

Its at the very bottom of the cat, right before the connection with the b-pipe or downpipe or mid pipe, whatever you want to call it. Youll have to remove the shielding to get to it.

Just undo the bolts you can see holding all the manifold/cat shielding together, and itll just come right out. And now voila, youll be able to see the other sensor.

 

1 is on the collector for the header, and the other is after the catalytic converter on the b-pipe section.
