HELLO ALL!

this is my 1st time posting anywhere on this site! u probably all hear this all the time but i would really seriously appreciate ANY help i can get on this!!

my dilemma is this;

i have a del sol 1.6 vtec vti dohc, (i believe that makes it a b16a 2/3?) now im a complete noob, but from interent research ive heard about turbo bolt ons, headers, cams, pistons n all sorts; BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THESE MEAN, N WHAT THEY DO, N IF I NEED THEM!

basically i want more power, but am also after reliability (therefore not just straight installing a nitrous system) i do not want serious headache (therefore not swapping engines) i also do not want 2 spend insane amounts of money!

THE POINT: the only upgrades it has is air induction and exhaust, CAN SOMEONE PLEEEASE HELP ME AS TO WHAT I SHOULD DO!!!

whats ur budget? also turbo and header cant be on at the same time

 

The first thing you should do is to educate yourself and become more knowledgeable about not only your car, but engines in general. Right now, judging from your post, it sounds like you don't have much knowledge about how engines work. I would advise you to learn at least the basics before jumping into any sort of engine modification, especially major things like turbocharging and such. At least you've come to a very good site to start your learning process.
