ok so i just bought an h23 engine from this guy in cally and he says it was in running condition with about 70k miles on it. well now its in my car and when i push it on the highway it doesntt go past 100 MPH i havent changed my tranny it has a crank in the 3rd gear. now i pushed 4th al the way but when i hit 5th it doesnt go past 100 and when i hit the clutch my RPM's drop and the car turns of on the highway is this my tranny or the motor oh yeah my oil light comes on it flikers then it flashes.

 

is any one selling an h22 or h23 engine this is in good condition and is not trying to rip me off i just spent like a G buying the motor and shipping I need help

oil light? check the oil, obviously. when it is real low, like dangerously low, the oil light comes on when you hit the brakes hard or take turns and the oil sloshes to one side.

 

my oil level on the dip stick is fine i check it daily

 

the motor was prbably boosted and as a result has low oil pressure do a comp check......and cracks in trannys??? is that what you said??? are not okay
