my car is smoking alot help please
i just got done swaping another ls in my crx i tested the motor before i bought the teg it ran good and smooth no smoke no nothing then i drop the motor in get it going drive it down the street and back into the garage to finish a couple of minor things everything went good so i fix the shift linkage and put antifreeze and connect the fan crank it up to test drive again as soon as i take off i look back and my whole street is smoged out
come home check the oil it needs to be changed so i check that lil black box in the back of the block one of the hoses is cracked so i replace it and change the plugs crank the car up and go for a test drive as soon as put it in first and start taking off again it started smokeing car is also ideling at 2gs i try to adjust it but still ideling high someone please give me some sort of idea what it could be
also i took out plugs and checked cilynders and there was oil on every piston so let the car run to burn it off and still getting oil and also did a compresion test and pulled 150s all across

could the motor have been tested with a heavy weight oil... this might have fooled you to believing the motor was actually good when it was fucked.
vacuum lines? map sensor wiring...ummm Mine smoked alot when there was a vacuum leak at the map sensor. If the MAP sees atmosphere it will pour in alot of gas. If the oil is getting into the cylinders you will probably see oil residue and wetness on the spark plugs. Did you check the oil level also??
