Fuel and coolant temp sensors are not working.. what could be the cause?

Default Fuel and coolant temp gauges are not working.. what could be the cause?

i should have said.. fuel and coolant temp gauges are not working

as soon as i hit III it jumps to hot.

Already tried a different cluster and same exact thing.. so.. what could be the problem? all wiring is in tact.. car runs, starts...

it might be stupid question but

do you have the right sensors hooked up to your block?

why dont you check that out first and maybe measure the voltage to that connector and see if you get any power to it.

yes, it is the right sensor connected.
