GAH! '98 GSR... trying to get codes for the radio, so I need to get it out to get the serial numbers off. Any ideas?

 

You have to take apart your entire center console and then remove a few screws, its a real pain, thats why once you get aftermarket head unit its really nice to be able to yank it out.

Then again same goes for theives, just yanking them out

 

center console... ash tray.. and two 8mms under the stereo

 

looks like ya already got the idea from the people above!!!!

 

Well, that was fun. Just yanked it all out and I had to fix some rigged up crap... but it's all back in (and CLEAN!). Radio works and all the proper screws are in the appropriate places. For the most part.

my radio codes were on the underside of the ashtray woot
